What does the Wilkie Brothers warranty cover?

Wilkie Brothers® fully guarantees cutlery to be free from material and manufacturing defects for a period of 10 years from date of purchase. Please Note that only cutlery is covered under warranty and not any other Wilkie Brothers products.

The Wilkie Brothers warranty covers faulty workmanship and/or materials when the product is used in normal, domestic conditions and in accordance with the care and use instructions provided. It does not cover normal wear and tear, commercial use or misuse of the product.

If a defect is deemed to have been caused by a manufacturing fault, the defective item will be replaced free of charge with a similar product or one of equal value if the original product is no longer available.

The following are excluded from the warranty:

• Damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse or commercial use.
• Scratches, stains, discolouration or corrosion caused when not following use and care directions.
• Consequential damage is expressly excluded from the warranty.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Wilkie Brothers® will, at its discretion, repair or replace at no charge, unsatisfactory products.

The benefits to the consumer given by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer under a law in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates.
